Is he the first to object to going back, or have more soldiers been sentenced because of refusing to do so?

The video mentions others too - him returning his medal was not the action of a single person and the video mentioned a group called "Military Families against the War" who had been behind this protest.

Apparently there was an anti war march in London today...
