The answer in the first Question & answer page is wrong:

"It will be permissible to use such alcohols as they are not derrived from dates or grapes hence not impure."

WRONG!

Other than that, good stuff. More competition the merrier.

if it intoxicates, it is not allowed.

When it is necessary in medicine, then that is a different issue, but it is NOT because "its not from grapes or dates". The reasoning given is wrong.
